Cambodia Town Business Center

Cambodia Town is located along the business corridor of Anaheim Street between Atlantic and Junipero Avenues in Long Beach, CA. Long Beach has the largest concentration of Cambodians outside of Cambodia.

The United Cambodian Community’s Economic Development Program led by Frederick Sor aims to promote economic growth, sustainability and opportunity by expanding small businesses, counseling entrepreneurs and fostering partnerships within the community.

Asian Pacific Islander Small Business Program

The United Cambodian Community (UCC), a collaborative partner of the Asian Pacific Islander Small Business Program (API SBP), provides services on an equal opportunity basis, providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities, and communicating with people who have limited English proficiency if requested at least two weeks in advance. Economic Inclusion

The United Cambodian Community is working together with the City of Long Beach to increase access to economic opportunities in low income communities to advance economic equity.




Kiva Loan Program

The City of Long Beach established UCC as a Kiva Trustee in which identifies entrepreneurs who may benefit from a 0% interest Kiva loan. UCC will support borrowers in launching and funding successful loan campaigns.



Financial Literacy

The United Cambodian Community now provides 1-on-1 online/in-person financial counseling, borrower assistance and educational workshops. Workshops include topics on credit-building, loans, government contracting and other relevant business topics useful to our community.

UCC actively uses Facebook to engage, educate and empower business owners and entrepreneurs.
